Our last days in EduAct
This is the fourth and last week of our internship here at EduAct. As we were approaching the end of our experience, we focused on finishing our 3D projects and making sure everything was ready. By now, we were more confident using the software and the 3D printer, so we could work more independently. We also helped each other with the final touches and made sure the prints came out correctly.

30/6 Monday
At the start of the week, we reviewed the prints we had made on Friday and checked if any adjustments were needed. Alessandro helped remove the supports from one of the finished objects, while Andrea tested different infill patterns to see how they affected printing time. Daniele used Fusion again to slightly redesign one of his parts that didn’t fit well.
1/7 Tuesday
With most of our models ready, we focused on optimizing the printer settings to improve quality. We experimented with layer height and speed, trying to find the best combination for the final prints. Alessandro and Daniele also cleaned the printer plate and reorganized the workspace, while Andrea made a time plan to make sure all prints could be completed by the end of the week.
2/7 Wednesday
On our final day, we monitored the last prints to check for possible issues such as support instability. Once everything was done, we took the chance to follow some basic Blender tutorials focused on texturing and mesh optimization. This helped us better understand how to prepare more efficient 3D models both for rendering and for printing. It was a good opportunity to consolidate what we had learned during the past weeks.
