Our first days in Eduact.
These were our very first days in EduAct and Greece as whole, meaning this is where we first come in contact with a completely foreign ambient, both geographically and socially. You will see here what were the things we were introduced to and how we slowly adapted to them and this place.
10/6 tuesday
On the first day, the Eduact staff introduced us the company and what they do. After that they told us that they participate in the FGC, a robot competition. We were then given a list with all the necessary parts for a robot, so that we could search for all of them and help the staff put them in a box, readying the parts and making them easily available for the next season. To wrap up the day, we were shown the basic engine that all robots in the competition share, the control hub and the controller so that we could play around with them a bit and move the robot.
11/6 wednesday
On this day we helped clear a storage full of boxes and then put them all on a truck so that they could be moved elsewhere.
12/6 thursday
This was the day we were given our very first personal activity, this blog! Some of the staff introduced us to different platforms and even showed us the work of some of the previous internshippers so that we could find the right way and inspiration to write these words. So we divided our tasks and got to work.
13/6 friday
As a finisher for the first week we continued to work on the blog. Andrea added some new features in the homepage, such as the ability to access the social media profiles of all teams member. Daniele completed the “Week 1” page and laid out the skeleton for the following week’s pages, wich will be filled at a later date. Meanwhile, Alessandro finshed the main page of the blog and improved the graphic aspect of the project.
